India Coverings Expo (ICE), a first of its kind B2B trade fair for architecture, building materials, innovation and design has been scheduled to be held this year from Nov 07 - 10, 2019 at the same venue at Hotel Orchid in Mumbai. After the resounding success of first year the exhibition has become bigger and better by increasing the showcasing space and dedicated space to some of the exhibit categories; for example the hardware segment has been given space of two complete floors in the hotel. The principal partner for the exhibition is OVEL Mica, one of the leading manufacturers of laminate and plywood based at Morbi, Gujarat. ICE offers opportunities to not just exhibit in a hotel room but also to create a long lasting impression on the decision makers of the industries facilitating a platform and environment to exchange ideas and information.
“This year ICE set-up is industry-focussed and a perfect opportunity to have manufactures to meet face to face with potential clients and reconnect with existing customers. There is a dedicated space of two floors for hardware segment along with larger space for the showcases related to wood panel, decorative and building material industry. With our pre-show research, new technologies, we are big proponents of new ideas that will have a meaningful impact on marketing and sales,” said Mr Praveen Hingad, the organiser of the exhibition. “The exhibition has impacted a number of industry players last year who offered innovative products. Till date a number of players have booked their space which includes manufacturers and traders of Laminates, Veneers, Acrylics, highlighters, Mosaics, Wallpapers, Cladding, Floorings, Solid Surface, Hardware and many more,” he added.
Exhibitors are witnessing even bigger opportunities this year with many advantages such as prime location, separate wing of hotel space for display, B2B nature of exhibition. Everyone
is expecting larger footfall due to coincidently being held with at least three exhibitions in Mumbai on the same dates. The participants are very optimistic with this 2nd edition of ICE.
