The growing laminates brand Airolam Laminates has expanded its manufacturing capacity to 5 lakhs sheets per month by adding a 4th Press in its manufacturing set up. This new press, with 20 daylights with sizes of 9x4.25 sq ft, will produce 1.9 lakhs sheets every month. It is going to start commercial production in January 2020.
Rs. 120 crores worth Airolam Ltd is based in Gujarat, has a diversified range of products such as decorative laminates, exterior grade laminates, plywood, and doors. The brand is spread over a pan India retail network with many overseas markets. With this new Press, Airolam is now fully geared to roll out huge volumes to serve quality products to the domestic and international markets. The products are free of smudges, crinkles, peel-offs and other abnormalities after application.
Mr. Suresh Patel, Director of the company said, “The target to go ahead with capacity enhancement is to fulfil the exports as well as increasing domestic demands. We now have an all-inclusive production capacity of 5 lakh sheets per month. With the increased capacity, we will ensure high-quality product offerings manufactured with imported raw materials, which in return the products set a quality benchmark for its competition.” At present their dealer network has penetration into the markets of 16+ countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, the U.S.A., U.K., Kuwait, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Qatar, U.A.E., Syria, Iran, Egypt, Nepal & Vietnam.
