Recent outbreak of Corona epidemic in China, may delay the procurement of raw materials such as printed decor paper and press moulds to Indian Laminates Industry. Most of the HPL producers are worried that due to delay in supply of moulds and paper, their upcoming folders will be postponed beyond their deadline. The Indian producers have started looking for options in India, and they are approaching to Indian Decor Paper printers and Press Moulds producers.
Indian laminates industry is heavily dependent on Chinese Decor Paper printers and Moulds producers. A major chunk of 1 mm laminates producers are totally relied on their decor printed paper where as Chinese Press Moulds have comprised more than half market share. Hueck-Decent has also started chroming facility in India, and ready to supply better materials. Sesa India is also offering good quality products.
