Anew MDF plant is going to set up in Khurda district in Odisha , which is recently approved by State Government. As per report, the proposal of Galax Industries Private Limited to set up a Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) manufacturing facility with an annual capacity of 72,000 cubic meters at an investment of Rs 93 crore got approval by State Level Committee.
“The company will set up its unit at Malipada in Khurda district which will generate employment opportunities for more than 310 persons,” said Industries secretary Hemant Sharma. This will be second MDF manufacturing facility in Odisha after the India’s oldest MDF brand Duratuff from Mangalam Timber, a part of Birla Group.
