The feature and its collections are perfectly suitable for furniture installed in interiors. I would like to have it installed in my new house as well. The best part of this laminate in this constrained time is its anti-bacterial feature that will make us safe from infection. Its 12 years warranty has excellent offerings with the product that assure about the quality of it.

Coming on the screen the famous TV actress Ms Gauahar Khan  appreciated the looks of the folder and said, “Actually the Imperia Décor PVC laminate specialty is that its every shade is very attractive to me. I would like to congratulate the management team for their efforts for making such a splendid collection in the PVC laminate category. I hope this catalogue will be much more successful ahead as it has performed splendidly in the last two years.”

“The feature and its collections are perfectly suitable for furniture installed in interiors. I would like to have it installed in my new house as well. The best part of this laminate in this constrained time is its anti-bacterial feature that will make us safe from infection. Its 12 years warranty has excellent offerings with the product that assure about the quality of it,” she added.

“I can’t say much about the distributors as they have already been in business for long years, but I think the brand loyalty will give you a much better return. In this constrained time people like to stay at home so I am sure the demand would be much better so if you push your target hither your return would be better with higher sales and Imperia will be much happier,” she added further.

On its feature she said, “Its 90 degree bendable feature makes use of different surfaces without using edge bands because with this feature it can be molded and put in different ways. Rest of the feature itself gives the idea to use in different areas where it can be suitable. The catalogue itself has many more different ideas of applications and combinations of applications of different shades and colors to make the interior look beautiful and elegant.”

Q&A WITH RAJIV PARASHAR, EDITOR, PLY REPORTER AND UTSAV GARG & MANOJ BANSAL, DIRECTORS, IMPERIA DECOR

What are the objectives for this grand launch of Imperia décor catalogue?

Utsav Garg: First of all I would like to thank the distributors for supporting us and the Ply Reporter for giving such a huge platform for launching the catalogue. I would like to say that a grand launch is for a grand product. As you know we are the number one in PVC laminate manufacturing in India and we want to maintain it. To grow in any business we have built trust and have done it successfully. With this catalogue we have introduced anti bacterial PVC laminate and for that we have done lots of R&D. We are known for new design offerings and innovations in it.

What is different and special in this folder?

Manoj Bansal: With this folder we have changed the entire look of Imperia Décor. The logo has been updated with our vision and theme of the company. This new logo representing a tree is indicating that we are nature lovers and deeply associated with its safety. IMPERIA means supreme power, so with it our vision is to make Imperia a supreme power in PVC laminate offering. The newly introduced collection of colours, designs and texture with this catalogue will definitely be a change and Imperia will definitely achieve its goal of being a supreme power in the PVC laminate category. With our designing skill we are expecting much more to make imperia the leader in PVC laminate segment.

PVC laminate price is increasing exponentially in the last few months. Despite that the distributors want to work, but why should they opt for Imperia Décor?

Manoj Bansal: For a decorative product its design and marketing skills and product availability play a much more important role than the costing of the product. Imperia has its pan India presence with its two huge deports one at South India and the other at Western India. So if a product is available with an innovative design option the price does not play an important role. Also, we offer competitive prices by enhancing production. Today we are having the largest production capacity of PVC laminate in India so our price comes down and we are able to give good quality products at competitive prices with excellent after sales service.

What is the current trend in the market?

Utsav Garg: These days natural wooden designs are in trends that are generally available in veneer. We have brought in PVC as well. With its excellent features people like to install it. PVC laminate is a product of life time use and it can be recycled also. We are trend setters because our extensive research and association with different international design companies make us lead the market.

OPINION OF IMPERIA DECOR CHANNEL PARTNERS

Mr. Rajesh Sankhala, Laxmi Laminates, Visakhapatnam: I am the first distributor for them and we have been associated since 2018. Our relationship got stronger with time as they are good people who make good products and offer them with excellent after sales service.

Mr. Pawan Gowda, Sri Thirumala Traders, Bengaluru: I find very good after sales service with them so that I have the highest sales in Imperia Décor. The new catalogue has many attractive designs and shades that will improve our sales.

Mr Pawan Patel, Plus Point Enterprises, Indore: The folder is very good and the effort made on it is visible in the catalogue. It has a very good presentation and is easy to carry. The solid colours and textures in the beginning of the catalogue is absolutely fine.

Mr Sagar Patel, Mahalaxmi Laminates, Surat: The textures collection with embossed features is excellent and never seen before in any other catalogue. The gold, silver and bronze solid colours are also very new and never seen before. For the Indian market these are the best collections. Being an anti-bacterial feature with 12 years warranty is also the very first time offered in the market.

Mr Vipul Patel, Jalaram Sales, Nagpur: I am sure the sales will increase as the folder is eye-catching and unique. The shade available in it is very lovely. I hope volume three will also be better than this.

Mr. K S Kapoor, Anand Alpine Impexo, Dwarka: In its previous folder our expectation was much higher but the new folder containing new colours, textures and innovative designs will definitely attract more sales.

Kamlesh Patel, Sri Laxmilam Ply, Aurangabad: It has various new things that will improve its sales. I hope with all our dealers it will improve to the next level.

Mr Anand Agarwal, Agarwal Agency, Raipur: The product with quality and guarantee, the sales will definitely improve as is happening with Imperia new catalogue. Imperia’s after sales service is much faster than others.

Today a lot of distributors and dealers are willing to get associated with Imperia Décor. What is your message for them?

Manoj Bansal: To maintain a proper supply the distributors need a unique product in their kitting. Today our distributors work with different companies like laminate, plywood, decorative items and PVC laminate also. They need margin as well as volume and with our new catalogue they will be able to get volume also as they are already having margin with PVC laminate. With this new catalogue the distributor’s comfort level will increase with the design collection in this catalogue because with this unique product offering the distributors do not have to face competition in the market. The new distributor can approach any time with our website and email ID. Our team responds within 24 hour and looks after the matter.

What are your future plans?

Utsav Garg : Our target is to have a production capacity of two lakh sheets per month which, I believe will be achieved in the next six-seven months. We have also established a paper laminate plant in Hapur, UP. The presses installed there have a production capacity of 3 lakh sheets per month. The commercial production there will be started in August 2021 and very soon a new folder will be launched in HPL category also with new designs and textures like happening in PVC laminates in our offerings.

At the end of the program the lucky winners were announced by Mrs Gauahar Khan and the winners were Mr Rajesh Motwani, Ply Park, Bhopal; Mr Ankit Agarwal, Laminate House, Gurgaon; Mr Himanshu Garg, Vidya Marketing, Kriti Nagar, New Delhi and Mr Jignesh, Maruti Décor, Nagpur. After that Mr Utsav Garg thanked everyone before signing off from the screen after launching the program.
