Haryana Plywood Manufacturers Association has decided to increase the rate of all finished plywood products by 8 percent. The decision taken in the meeting held at Yamunanagar on 21 January 2022 has been implemented with immediate effect. The office bearers of Haryana Plywood Manufacturers Association and members were present in the meeting. All the members unanimously felt the need to increase the rate with immediate effect due to the rising price of timber.
The association’s president Mr. JK Bihani said that all the producers have agreed to increase the rate by 8 percent on all plywood products like plywood, blockboard, flush door, etc. Mr. Bihani said that the rates of timber like Poplar and Safeda are increasing day by day, so they have no option but to increase the rate to save the industry. He also said that apart from timber, the prices of balan wood and other raw materials are also rising, and due to this the cost of manufacturing of plywood has increased considerably.
We have to pass on the increased cost to the customers so that the industry can be saved,” he added. He urged all the members to convey this information to their respective customers, and urged them to implement it.
