Uttarakhand is becoming the biggest manufacturing hub for MDF production in India. The Ply Reporter findings reveal that, there are four highcapacity production lines are going to be set up in the state, which are above 500 cubic meters capacity with continuous lines. The MDF front runner brand, Action Tesa is going to set up their 4th production lines in the state of above 600 cubic meters capacity per day. With commissioning of its 4th line, Action Tesa will become the biggest producer of MDF in India.
Crossbond is also reportedly to setting up a continuous line for MDF manufacturing in the state. Mr. Aman Garg, Director, Metro Decorative Pvt Ltd talking to the Ply Reporter said that his plant will be spread in an area of 25-acre factory premises and the company will have an operational capacity of 550 Cubic Meters per day of continuous press.
E3 group is setting up a new MDF line in Kashipur, Uttarkhand of 550 cubic meters per day. Mr Sanjay Garg, Chairman of the company says that his plant will commence commercial production by 2023. Another manufacturing unit is also reported to be installed in Uttarkhand. All four new MDF plants are expected to start production by 2023-24, which will add approx 2500 cubic meters per day MDF capacity in India.
Uttarakhand is a major producer of MDF boards in India, where three MDF manufacturing establishments such as Balaji Action Buildwell, GreenPanel Industries and Shirdi Industries, and they are successfully running its operation in the state.
