Kerala Adding 5 New Particle Boards Lines

Kerala is emerging as another Particle Boards manufacturing hub in India. There are five new production lines that are going to be installed in the state this year. China based Machinery producers confirmed of having orders for entire machinery plants. The suppliers also believe, they would be able to supply these machines within this year. The Ply Reporter Sources found; each line would have approximately 150 to 200 cubic meters per day production capacity.

Kerala based Greenland Particle Boards are commissioning another manufacturing line in Kannur district, which will commence the production in 3-4 months. Mr. Salim, Managing Director, Greenland Particle Boards says that he has opted for China Foma manufacturing  line of 180 cubic meters per day capacity, to cater only to the quality Particle Boards market.

Presently Kerala has 4 particle Boards manufacturing lines, apart from the new ones that are going to be commissioned this year. Reports point towards, upcoming another 4-5 industries that are now under way to complete the required formalities in different districts of Kerala. Kerala is currently producing around 600 cubic meters of particle boards per day, and it is anticipated to reach to more than double this capacity by the beginning of 2023.
