OLPL has 2 manufacturing units. The company started with the production of laminate in November, 2011 followed by coated paperboard in December, 2012.
The production of laminate grew from 3 million square metres in 2011 to 6 million square metres in 2018. We also achieved 100% manufacturing capacity utilisation of our coated paperboard division in 2018 i.e. of producing 75,000 tonnes of paper per annum.
The same year, the decision to expand and set up a second unit for the manufacturing of kraft paper was taken. The new unit set out into production in 2020 with a capacity of making 1,10,000 tonnes of paper per annum.
