Addressing the audience Mr Amit Poddar, President, KLDA said that it is a moment of pleasure that all made it through the difficult time of covid. From our incorporation of KLDA, we have succeed in few aspects and failed in some aspect. As the expectations are high from all the members to improve and expect the desired result. But we have to understand it's a team effort to achieve any goals. He also stated that to resolve all the issues first of all we have to come together and understand all members and each other in a better way. We have to believe, we can become friends first and win each other's trust to take our goal of achieving the desired result in KLDA. Things are changing with time so is our business and we had to change and upgrade ourselves too. We have to identify the more difficult challenge faced by all members. “Today major companies are opening there depo in Bangalore and trying to bill directly to retailers. Same thing they are trying in project also. Online market is another big challenge for Laminates distributors as they are buying from factory depo or from distribution house and selling at lower price,” he stated further.

During the AGM the association suggest to all the trade members about the uses and applications of laminate to avoid complaints. Giving directions to future for KLDA the suggestion came that the members need to bond for better tomorrow as the meeting is more towards fellowship as the meeting bond with each other as family. KLDA can think of encouraging members’ kids to achieve what they want to achieve in their life by getting them right platform or through factory support. The members need to move on to be more organized and do business and slowly shift to full billing with positive frame in mind. Upgrade members by advising on changing laws or GST changes happing by sending circular to all members and dividing KLDA in four zones such as East, West, North & South for better communication.
