In an industry where laminates are increasingly being evaluated not merely as surfaces but as elements of design, experience and expression, Amulya Mica brought together its extended business and design fraternity in Delhi for a significant evening of product innovation, partnerships and future focused conversations.
Held on the 19th September at The Leela, Delhi, the gathering saw the participation of more than 400 delegates, including distributors, dealers, architects, interior designers, business associates, members of the design fraternity, along with Amulya Mica's leadership and senior sales team.
At the heart of the evening was the much-awaited launch of the company's newly curated 1.00 mm A'ONE and 1.25 mm SYNCORA laminate collections, presented under the larger vision of Mission 200K.
The event was conceived as more than a catalogue launch. From the ceremonial lamp lighting, Ganesh Vandana and National Anthem to the product unveiling, partner recognition, business session and presentations on the company's evolving retail and design strategy, the evening brought together manufacturing, distribution, design, technology and relationships on one platform.
Guests were welcomed with high tea and a series of interactive experiences including a canvas activity, photo booth, videobyte zone, caricature booth and personalised fridge-magnet experience. The formal proceedings then moved seamlessly between tradition, entertainment and business, with a flash mob and Colours of India performance setting an energetic tone for the evening.
Welcoming the gathering, Mr. Rakesh Agarwal, Managing Director, Amulyamica Industries Pvt. Ltd placed partnership and collective progress at the centre of his address. He acknowledged the contribution of distributors, dealers, architects, interior designers, sales colleagues and the leadership team in building the Amulya Mica journey.
Mr. Agarwal emphasised that the changing expectations of consumers and the growing influence of architects and designers require manufacturers and channel partners to look beyond product supply. The opportunity, he said, lies in creating a more informed, inspiring and experiential buying journey. He also highlighted Amulya Mica's continued focus on manufacturing capabilities, technology, capacity expansion and product innovation, while reiterating that sustainable growth is ultimately built through shared trust and collective effort.
That thought naturally led into the evening's larger theme Mission 200K. Presented not merely as a numerical target but as a shared business ambition, the mission brought together the company's product, people and market strategies. Mr Abhishek Agarwal, Director, along with Mr. SK Tharad, VP - Sales, spoke about the importance of collective participation in translating the ambition into market growth. They emphasized upon the signifacne of working together for Manufacturing strength, an energised sales organisation, a strong distribution network and empowering dealers who can create scale.
The most anticipated moment followed with the unveiling of the two new laminate folders. The launch sequence featured Dr Ujjwal Patni, Mr Pragat Dvivedi, Chief Editor - Ply Reporter, Mr Hari Maheshwari, Mr Subir Palit, Mr Amit Poddar, Mr Pankaj, Mr Mohit and Mr Vishnu, along with Mrs Shailja Agarwal Todi, Director - Marketing, who joined the stage for the culmination of the unveiling.
The presentation captured the essence of the launch in a simple line: "One launch. Two distinct sell stories. One stronger portfolio." That distinction lies at the heart of the new collections.
The A'ONE 1.00 mm Premium Laminate Collection has been developed as a broader and more contemporary design library. The name connects the 1 mm proposition with the Amulya identity, while the collection itself brings together art and innovation through a refreshed portfolio architecture.
The new A'ONE folder comprises 562 final pieces, with 43 décor papers and 15 textures added.
Of the 113 additions to the 1.00 mm folder, 41 pieces were carried forward from Amulya Mica's Cyano portfolio, while 72 are completely new to the Amulya 1.00 mm collection.
Its design language spans premium veneers, abstract surfaces, wood grains, digital and ombré expressions and metallics. The refreshed texture vocabulary includes Cork, Interweave, Abstract Linear, Micro Maze, Balsa, Jatoba, Cumaro and Quilted Maple, alongside selected textures from the Cyano family. Décor stories range from Sucupira and Walnut veneers to Oak, Teak, Cork, Fab Wood, Liquid Metal and Silk Metallic expressions.
The idea is to move the selling conversation beyond thickness and towards design possibility. For architects and interior designers, the collection offers a wider palette across different interior moods. while for dealers it creates a clearer proposition to present to customers.
If A'ONE is about breadth, SYNCORA 1.25 mm has been positioned around depth, tactile experience and the synchronisation of décor and texture. Its very name reflects the idea of design, texture and craftsmanship coming together, supported by the line "Crafted to Look. Designed to Feel."
The refreshed SYNCORA portfolio comprises 92 décor papers and 41 textures, with 18 new décor papers and six new textures-24 additions in all. The décor range has grown from 74 to 92 papers, with wood-led design cues around Elm, Teak, Oak and Walnut playing an important role.
Among the design stories presented were GroundElm, with its fine flowing grain; Marina Oak, with its detailed vertical character; and Ulem, developed around a calm, continuous natural wood expression. Together, they reinforce the collection's emphasis on the connection between visual appearance and tactile experience.
The launch also carried forward Amulya Mica's longstanding journey in synchronised laminates, tracing the evolution from the first launch of the Amulya 1.25 mm Synchronized range in Bali in 2015 to its continued development over more than a decade.
Presenting the new portfolio and later outlining the company's evolving gallery strategy, Mrs Shailja Agarwal Todi connected the product launch with a broader shift in the laminate buying environment. Her message was that product presentation is increasingly becoming as important as product availability. Amulya Mica's growing Experience Centre initiative, supported by visualisation tools such as Click & Look and the Visualizer, aims to help customers experience décor and applications beyond the limitations of a conventional folder.
The company currently has a network of galleries across India and has articulated an ambition to expand the Experience Gallery concept further, particularly into Tier-II and Tier-III markets. The objective is to create spaces where dealers, architects, designers, influencers and consumers can discover, compare and experience products more effectively.
This vision was complemented by Mr Amit Burman's presentation on designer community and influencer connect, reflecting Amulya Mica's intent to deepen engagement with architects, interior designers and other design influencers who play an increasingly important role in material discovery and specification.
The evening also brought a strong business dimension through the session by Dr Ujjwal Patni. Addressing the entrepreneurs and channel partners in the audience, Dr Patni placed the business owner at the centre of sustainable growth. His session focused on practical frameworks around USP, KPIs, customer relationships, owner-focused time management and daily planning.
From tracking leads, conversion and new retailer acquisition to improving customer relationships, references and follow-ups, the message was straight forward: growth requires disciplined measurement and consistent execution. His session encouraged business owners to move beyond routine firefighting and devote focused time to strategy, systems, people, financial management, market intelligence and business development.
The evening also celebrated the people behind Amulya Mica's growth. Fifty channel partners were recognised for qualifying for an exclusive 5-night/6- day Switzerland experience, linking performance recognition with the larger spirit of partnership and Mission 200K.
The following day, delegates also participated in a Delhi Darshan, adding a cultural and informal dimension to the overall engagement.
As the evening progressed, prime distributors shared their experiences with the brand, bringing the voice of the channel directly onto the stage. Their participation reinforced an important reality of the building-material industry: product innovation may begin with the manufacturer, but its success is ultimately shaped in the marketplace through relationships, distribution and customer confidence.
The evening concluded on a celebratory note with entertainment and an open-floor interaction, but the larger message of the gathering remained firmly business-led.
Amulya Mica's Delhi launch was therefore not simply about introducing two new folders. A'ONE 1.00 mm brings greater breadth and a refreshed multi-style design library, while SYNCORA 1.25 mm deepens the relationship between décor and texture. The Experience Centre vision looks to transform product discovery, designer engagement seeks to strengthen the connection with the design community, and Mission 200K provides the larger framework for growth.
In a market where adding more designs is no longer enough, the real opportunity lies in curating better, communicating better, displaying better and connecting better. For Amulya Mica, the laminate is not merely a sheet, but the starting point of a larger journey where design, imagination, experience, relationships and business come together.
