South India based Plywood Associations announce to increase prices by 7%

With rising input costs of producing finished goods due to high prices of Timber, Veneer, Labor, and other essential resources, the Plywood Manufacturers Associations from Southern India has decided to increase prices by 7% on all Plywood products.

BPMA, Bangalore Plywood Manufacturers Association issued a letter on 14th May, 24 and said that the increase in input costs of making Plywood have had a significant impact on industry, making it difficult for them to maintain the current pricing structure. After careful consideration and consultation with the Kerala Plywood Association, Kannur Plywood Association, and Karnataka Plywood Association, they have decided that it is necessary to implement a price increase for their plywood products. Hence after careful consideration the members have unanimously decided to increase the rates by 7% on all products with immediate effect.

KPMA, Karnataka Plywood Manufacturers Association, held a meeting in Mangalore, and they announced the price hike on Plywood and Block Boards by 7 % on 13th May, 24.
