The fire accident brings our attention that a little negligence your daily routine may lead to an unimaginable loss to life and property. It has been our endeavour to constantly educate the masses to take lesson from these incidences and implement proper preventive methods to avoid the same be it from a manufacturing unit or a finished stock godowns/shops.
Fire hazard and worker safety have a long history. Manufacturers, stock owners and ultimately the workers are impacted by fire hazards set aside the loss to the property. In fact fire is such a menace that it does give an early warning and when it happens things go out of hand.
FIRE HAZARD TYPES
The two major sources of fire are
• Proximity of combustible materials to heating sources/appliances
• Improper and unprotected electrical applications
Besides careless behaviour also lead to fire hazards many a times. Study shows that seventy-five percent of fires are caused by people being careless. When we talk about wood based industries the chances rise to maximum level. Not only at the manufacturing point but wood products are susceptible to major fires in storage conditions also like that in the godowns and shops.
