HPMA Suggests Increment in Plywood Prices Due to High Timber Cost

The executive committee of Haryana Plywood Manufacturers Association (HPMA), in a recent meeting, held on 13th June under the chair of President Mr J K Bihani has advised the plywood manufactures to make a considerable increment in the price of finished products following the invariably increasing cost of Timber.

It was unanimously decided in a meeting that it would be in the better interest of manufacturing units to increase the prices to the tune of  Rs 2.0 per sq ft for 19mm/18mm/15mm plywood and 19mm/22mm/25mm Board while Rs 1.50 per sq ft for 12mm/9mm plywood and Rs 1.00 per sq ft for 5mm/6mm plywood. Increment in doors is highest at the rate of  Rs 3.00 per sq ft for 30mm/35mm Doors,

As per the committee, all the aforementioned price hikes will be applicable with immediate effect
