Announcing the commencement of their new MDF unit, Mr Vineet Kumar Singla, Director, Archit Nuwood Industries Ltd informed that he is anticipating the start of production from the company's new MDF plant around Diwali 2025. “The new plant will add 1,000 cbm to our existing capacity, bringing the total to 1,400 cbm once fully commissioned”, he added.

Despite encountering some price cutting in the current MDF market by several players at the expense of reducing their product density to compete, Mr Vineet asserted, “At Nuwud, we maintain a firm commitment to quality, regardless of market fluctuations as our loyal customer base trusts us for this consistency. However, we expect a 6% price hike across the industry next month, as sustaining current prices is becoming increasingly difficult.”

Following the uncertainty pertaining availability of Timber in the North in 2025-26, he ensured that Nuwud is proactively addressing the situation by initiating a ‘1 crore plantation drive’ over the next 3-4 years, and we expect other industry players to follow suit. “This large-scale effort will help ensure the sustainability of timber supply. Without such measures, there could be challenges in timber availability in the future”, he added further.

As the largest company providing high-quality MDF, Nuwud has received an overwhelmingly positive response to our new range of laminate shades. “We are also excited to announce the upcoming launch of our 0.8mm laminate collection, further expanding our offering to meet diverse customer preferences, " informed Mr Vineet.
