Film faced shuttering Plywood industry has witnessed a good demand in Feb month after sluggish November and December. The demand has reported to start improving from the second fortnight of January month, and February had noted a decent demand growth. As per report, the producers have sufficient order in March as well.
Film faced Shuttering plywood demand has been driven by the momentum of the construction sector and the report says that real estate, housing and government projects have witnessed increased activity in these months, because they have a target to use last year's projects and funds. Delhi-NCR has noted the work activities at many construction sites, which had disturbed in November, December and January month due to NGT order affected due to air quality index and pollution.
Experts say that the construction sites are on full boom in February and March everywhere, which has supported the demand of Shuttering Plywood. Reports from Maharashtra, Gujarat, AP, UP, Tamilnadu, etc indicate the huge demand of Shuttering Plywood. There is good demand for shuttering ply reported in tier 2 and tier 3 cities in pan India market.
Meanwhile, the Film faced Shuttering plywood producers are forced to increase the prices by 4% due to increasing their input cost. The producers based in Yamunanagar have recently announced a price hike of Rs. 2 per sqft, citing the high prices of timber and chemicals.
