The Laminate Industry is now catching up with the new decor trend that was noted recently. The charm of Synchronize Surface decor products has come back with bang as seen in new offerings by design n makers. Every HPL and LPL company is searching for good Synchro Design with the right combination of Press Plate moulds and Decor Base Paper.
The combination of both Moulds and Decor Paper has created a win-win situation for this segment, where the decor paper companies have tied up with Press Plate producers. For this combination both segments refer to each other, to find the right choice of the decorative laminate producers.
In the recently held interzum Guangzhou exhibition, I saw that most of the Press Plates and Decor Paper companies launched their innovation with the Synchro concept, and they recommend using each other's products to create good synchro designs. The Decorative Laminate, Low Pressure Laminate, and Flooring companies were found busy to identify the right Synchro combination, and they had been looking after this trend.
In the decorative laminate segment, many companies have recently introduced 1.25 mm laminate and most of them have maximum synchro designs. Experts feel that the deep texture of synchro is suitable for 1.25 mm laminates. The new premium 1 mm laminate folders have a synchro range, and companies are chasing to press plate producers to create something unique and innovative for them.
Synchro laminate is showcasing some unique patterns for the decorative laminate sector, and this will again create a difference with growing 0.92 mm laminates. The segment has created a niche for the laminate industry and it will continue as a trend of 2025-26. The following surface decor trend has seen Decorative Veneer, Acrylic Laminates and PVC Laminate also. Other surface decor panel segments will also follow but the decorative laminate industry will be benefited more if they are able to create a niche and aware the market with the right concept and platform.
