Euro Pratik to Acquire 56% Stake in Fab Wood Expanding into Timber Biz

Euro Pratik builds a broader Interior Solutions Platform with Fab Wood Acquisition, marking its entry into value-added wood products which will create new cross-selling opportunities across India’s design and construction ecosystem.
Euro Pratik Sales Limited, one of India’s leading organised brands in decorative wall panels and laminates has announced on 23rd Sept that it will acquire a 56% controlling stake in Fab Wood, a South India-focused timber and value-added wood products business. The transaction, with an aggregate investment of ₹42.70 crore (which includes a capital infusion of ₹8.40 crore in Fabwood Solutions LLP), is expected to be completed by October 8, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. It will be funded in phases through internal accruals, reflecting Euro Pratik’s strong balance sheet and cash-generation capability. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Euro Pratik’s presence in South India.
Founded in 1999, Fab Wood has established a strong presence in the timber and value-added wood products segment across South India. Its portfolio includes timber, engineered wood solutions, cladding products, doors and other architectural wood applications. Supported by established operating infrastructure and processing capabilities, Fab Wood serves architects, interior designers, furniture manufacturers, contractors, builders, OEMs and homeowners. The business is also recognised for its focus on product innovation and new applications within the wood products category.
The acquisition marks Euro Pratik’s entry into the premium timber and value-added wood products segment and is expected to create cross-selling opportunities across both businesses. By combining Fab Wood’s relationships across the wood-products value chain with Euro Pratik’s extensive pan-India distribution network, the Company aims to broaden market access, strengthen its product portfolio and support long-term growth. The transaction supports Euro Pratik’s long-term objective of building an integrated platform for interior decorative and surface solutions, enabling customers to access a wider range of products through a single trusted partner
.
Commenting on the acquisition, Mr. Pratik Singhvi, Chairman and Managing Director, Euro Pratik Sales Limited, said, “The acquisition with a controlling stake in Fab Wood Business is an important step in Euro Pratik’s growth strategy. Following our acquisitions of URO Veneer World and Chawla Brothers, Fab Wood gives us an entry into the premium timber and value-added wood products segment, broadening our portfolio and expanding our addressable market. The acquisition of Rs. 42.70 Crores shall be funded by internal acrruals.”
“Fab Wood’s established presence in South India and strong relationships with architects, designers, furniture manufacturers, contractors and builders complement Euro Pratik’s distribution capabilities. Together, we see meaningful opportunities to strengthen market access, create cross selling opportunities and deliver a more comprehensive offering to our customers. With a net debt-free balance sheet and strong internal cash generation, we remain well positioned to pursue disciplined, value-accretive growth opportunities that enhance our distribution reach, product portfolio and long-term market leadership. We would target to take Fabwood from predominantly South India to other parts of the country with Euro Pratik’s pan- india distribution network”, added Mr Singhvi.
This is Euro Pratik’s third strategic acquisition in a short period, underscoring its focused approach to geographic expansion and product diversification. Earlier, the acquisitions of URO Veneer World and Chawla Brothers strengthened the Company’s regional footprint, while Fab Wood adds an adjacent category with the potential to enhance customer engagement and support long-term growth.
