Leading Wood Panel brand Century Ply has entered into manufacturing to this product in India, and other WPC/PVC based producers have started taking interest into it.
Surface décor industry in India has noted a good demand for décor panel products in the last 3 years, where the Louvers has been accepted at a fast pace. The story started with imported Charcoal louvers in 2019 and noted the highest demand growth post covid in 2022- 23, that have brought approx 75 companies to enter into manufacturing and more than 100 entrepreneurs to venture into trading.
Approx 300 folders are available presently in the India market with different brands and names. Charcoal Louvers, WPC Louvers, MDF Louvers are common products available in different thicknesses and Sizes in thousands of moulds and colours.
Recently WPC Louvers panels have brought attention of users and dealers, as it is sturdy, good finish, and durable, besides it is being offered for Interior and exterior both range. As per report, a dozen of companies are producing WPC Louvers in India, and many new manufacturing plants and commissioning, besides a dozen of brands are offering imported material in India.
