The Annual General Meet of Indian Laminate Manufacturers Association (ILMA) has announced the formation of a new working committee with the appointment of Mr Surinder Arora, MD, Virgo Laminates as the President and Mr Vishal Dokania, Director, Durian Laminates as the Vice President while Mr Jikesh Thakkar will continue to hold the position of Honorary Secretary of the newly formed committee.
Talking to the "Ply Reporter, Mr Surinder Arora says that his priority is to work together for the betterment and cohesion of fellow industry people, “We always strive to add new dynamic members in the association who can lead the industry to a global frontier”, he comments.
Mr Arora also adds that the association will continue to work in context of government’s recent action on Anti-dumping duty on imported decor paper and Melamine along with other compliances issues binding on Indian Decorative Laminate industry.
Founded in 1998, Indian Laminate Manufacturer's Association (ILMA) with its registered office in Ahmedabad is having a presence across various regions of India. It is the only registered association for laminate manufacturers in India having more than 115+ members which include manufacturers of decorative laminates, compact laminates or high-pressure laminates. The association's membership base also comprises few Pre-Lam, Particle Boards and Medium Density Fibre Board (MDF) Manufacturers.
