WPC PVC Association Asks an Increase of 15%

Tuesday, 10 March 2026

The entire WPC PVC Association has declared the price hike of 15 % on all ranges of WPC & PVC products, effective from 9th March onwards.  The decision of price increase is taken in the wake of rapid surge in raw material prices, particularly due to current war situation, resulting into global supply chain disruption,  hence the prices of critical raw materials used in manufacturing PVC and WPC products, including PVC Resin, processing aids, and other key additives have increased significantly.

Due to this unprecedented rise in raw material costs and severe supply constraints, the industry is compelled to implement a minimum price increase of 15% with immediate effect.

As per the association, this increase is unavoidable under the present circumstances, and further price revisions may occur as the situation remains highly volatile. The raw material crisis has already started affecting production across several plants, and the operational viability of many manufacturing units is under pressure.

The association has also requested all the industry stakeholders and buyers to support the industry during this challenging period and procure only their essential requirements. Buyers are also advised to avoid unnecessary stockpiling, as the industry may not be in a position to meet surplus demand at this time. Under the current war situation, the price shall be updated every Monday till the war situation is mitigated.
