The 2nd edition of D Cube Exhibition with a successful note held from March 9-11, 2018 at Prabhakar Kore Convention Centre, Bangalore. What’s trending in this decorative segment of products had been widely presented in the exhibition. This exhibition has become an interactive platform curetted to exchange views and innovations in the interior décor trade. In this edition over 60 participants were displaying their products which were much appreciated by trade professionals.
The show was inaugurated on 9 March, 2018 by Shri Shabbir Patanwala, who was the sponsor for the D-Cube exhibition held at Bangalore. According to him, the show has been popular in the entire plywood and decorative industry. All the exhibitors received tremendous response from all the corners of India to attend the only B2B exhibition D-Cube. The show has created awareness for the need of showroom displays to promote the decorative range available in the Indian industry. “D-Cube promotes not only the Big Brands, but also gave a chance to the creative and hard working individuals of the industry, who bears enough potential if given exposure on such a B2B event,” he added. All the guests of honours of the exhibition were Mr Prateek Singhvi, Director, Euro Pratik Group; Mr Rajeev Agarwal, director, Edge, Asiatic & Ambiance Companies, Mr Sandeep Kedia, Director, Shinto Corporation; Mr Hitesh Jasani, Director, Parth International & Metallino; and Mr Raju Patel, Director, Prince Group of Companies. They were proud to be associated with D-Cube from its very first edition held at Mumbai, and continue to support D-Cube for its second edition held in Bangalore.
The show was expanded to 3 days, which was visited by above 5000 serious buyers from the trade. The showcased materials included: Decorative Laminates, Veneers, PVC & Acrylic sheets, Charcoal Sheets & Mouldings, Decorative Mosaics, WPC Panels, Decorative Mirrors, Wallpapers and many more. Dev Enterprise displayed De’ Vistas range of products which included basic laminates with exclusive range imported from China and Korea along with some decorative items like MDF, Mosaic, Veneers and many more interior products. The transformational interior products brought by De’ Vistas attracted many at the show. “We are in this market for last four years. Here we have displayed five textures of PVC laminates and four textures of Acrylic laminates and some decorative items. Now-a-day the PVC laminates demand is increasing due to its easy applications and long durability. We are looking for govt projects to be covered as in that sector it is more in demand,” said Mr Mahendra Suthar of Dev Enterprise.
EQ of Ravechi Lifestyle displayed Acrylic Sheets and imported adhesives of Chumbak brand. The visitors at the EQ stall explored their innovative range of products. “We have displayed many items with many brands such as acrylic sheets which can be mosaic, backlit-translucent PVC sheets with uniform illumination with a single light beam. It gives far better results with LED. Our product Chumbak adhesive is much in demand in the market and its USP is its quality imported from Korea and China. It is a product that is widely acknowledged for its smooth performance, easier usage & faster drying features,” said Mr Jignesh Dedhia, Managing Director, Rabeshi Lifestyle.
Surface Dekor (I) Pvt Ltd launched a new folder of superior quality laminate with over 1000 designs in mild and soft textures and backlit sheets range. Mr Hasmukh R Shah, Director, Surface Dekor (I) Pvt Ltd, Said, “Surface Dekor is one of the leading Distributors of superior quality Laminates & Bakelite range that can only be limited by the imagination”.
Bhavya Decor a wholesaler of decorative veneer based at Mumbai came up with Able and Nocte brands of ply, veneer and mica in the exhibition. Noctelam brought a range of decorative laminates that can change the face of interior designs. These are the laminate designs that give wings to imagination. Visitors browsed through innovative products by them. Mr Krunal Shah of Bhavya Decor said, “Demand is there so we are giving many solutions in this building finishing material segment.
People like it very much,” Saurav Suman Finevest Pvt Ltd - the dealers/ distributors of Durian products at Bangalore was present at the exhibition with their tag line “First impression is the last impression.” inspired by this principal rule of the interior designing. They brought the Durian products that are the perfect blend of technology and innovation. Their showcasing products included flush doors with door frame; two types of plywood –WP & MR; Decorative Laminates, etc. “As we are witnessing competition from veneer so we are concentrating on products of decorative items and veneer. We are having a huge stock of 600 designs in which 250 is sheets of soft textured laminates,” said Mr H S Sreenath, Marketing Manager, Saurav Suman Finvest Pvt Ltd.
Asiatic Surfaces, the Dolby Mica distributors based at Mumbai presented amazing range of decorative laminates and launched three new folders Visual Art, Capture and Surface at the show. “We work with showrooms and in wooden products in high end showroom customers across India,” said Mr Rupesh Agarwal and Arvind Patel, Partners of Asiatic Surfaces. They were also showcasing their existing folders of Riolam, Crista and Dolby Mica.
Bravia Interior Infrastructure Pvt Ltd with brand name Bravia surprised their customers with many more innovative products. During the show they launched wooden Synchronised panels which is a waterproof panel imported from Thailand. They also showcased new designs of charcoal in 75 colours. It is being used as highlighters.
Klas designer elements presented their range of products in a big way. India’s one of the leading wall panels and decorative items specialists showcased mosaic concept, laminates, veneers, furniture elements and Art effects, etc. “We received quality footfall from across the country,” said Rajesh Hingad, Director, Klas Designer Elements. Their brand KLAS is committed to continuously evolve new products to meet style and requirements of their customers. “Now the innovation and product quality is getting good response among customers of every need. Showcasing creativity is increasing and people should focus on it,” he added.
Lotus Laminates presented their premium laminates that change the way interiors looks. With their 10x4 sqft laminate in 30 mild and soft colours with wooden and stone textures was presenting uniqueness in the product offerings at the exhibition. Mr Amit Nandu, Director, Laminate Plus – a house of exclusive laminate and wall paper said, “Those who are innovative will have market and margins. Up gradation in is a must for growth in the industry as there is a vast competition. We are giving innovative solutions with latest designs.”
Gloirio of Maitri Decor presented their offerings of innovative highlighters which can facilitate various concepts of interior styling. They presented 170 items of charcoal for interior decor, leather lamination in 60 colours, leatherette and leather items. Mr Jayendra Ghoda of Maitri Decor said, “We deal with distributors across the country and have a good presence everywhere.”
Vinod Plywood Suppliers - the distributors of Flamingo Decorative Veneers presented their innovative and natural looking veneers from under their brand Flamingo were inspiring is such a way to make them go beyond imagination while designing interiors. They focused on natural and raw veneer and also showcased Matt and Glossy finish of their product offerings. Talking about the market Mr Vonod Patel of Vinod Plywood Suppliers said, “We are witnessing good growth, and in coming time as well there will be demands of these products.”
Zenith Surface Corporation brought a wide range of Home Interiors Decorative Products, available in multiple colors, patterns, and styles. “We have brought Korian type solid surface from ‘Balota’, Backlit which is onyx lookalike structure and extension concept lamination. Balota products are eco-friendly because of its preconsumer recycle material in it. It is also lighter, strongerM and fabricated and thermoformed,” said Mr Yash Shah, Managing Partner, Zenith Surface Corporation.
Brics Lam with Perfect Ply Industries Pvt Ltd brought unique designs, solid colours, wooden designs and latest textures in newly launched laminates range. Its looks are different. The range offered by Brics Lam is not only versatile but also eco-friendly. “We are looking for distributors in South. We are having good presence in Gujarat, and Rajasthan and moving step by step to the other part of the country. Our tadka laminates are innovation textures which is handmade which are catching up the market. We want always to go into market with new and innovative products,” said Mr Hasmukh Patel, Director, Perfect Ply Industries Pvt Ltd, Glitorium India Pvt Ltd with Sibu Design, a leading manufacturer of high-quality, synthetic design panels highlighted decorative laminates for artesian that have been specially developed for interior, furniture, shop, fashion, architectural and display design purposes. They also showcased PVC 90 degree bendable laminates. “The demand is growing with the increasing awareness.
Our products convince both due to their design and ease of handling. It SIBU sheets are simple to process and can be employed in a virtually unlimited number of ways. It is being used in celling walls, wardrobes and hotels lobbies and many more applications are there,” said Mr Dhaval Gada, Director, Glitorium India Pvt Ltd.
Svayam Laminates the distributor of ‘Craze’ by Vansh Laminate LLP presented their interesting interior products of non folder laminates, tadka laminates and digital textures in veneer base in 1mm to make designs stand out. Vaibhav Patel, Director, of Vansh Laminate LLP was also present in the exhibition at the stall. He said, “There is a greater innovation required in this segment to sustain in the market as a number of players are entering into the game which poses competition. But, those who are innovative and creative will always lead.”
Ciscon Decor the leading name in the laminate industry offering variety of acrylic laminates, PVC laminates, charcoal panel, metallic panel, and more was showcasing ceiling decorative items as a replacement of POP along with Acrylic high gloss laminate and metal effect charcoal panels. Mr Jagdish Shah, Director, Ciscon Decor said, “Our innovative WPS material decorative item is in greater demand. It is light weight and easy to install giving rich look in metallic colour. We are getting good response of it.”
Star Laminates India Pvt Ltd showcased a range of their laminates, “Star Mica has come up with innovation in textures and presented a horizontal wooden texture which is available in 50 colours. The horizontal wooden textures are the new trend and architects and interior designers are asking more about it. Despite of huge entrants in this segment the market is good due to its increasing applications. If you have innovative products with good desing there is less competition for that. It is good for industry also as by this way the manufactures will focus on their quality,” said Mr Ashwini Agarwal and Mr. Sumit Mangal of Star Laminates India Pvt Ltd.
Prince Ply Industries presented their finger joint board in natural wood and Prince Laminates in 0.92mm with wooden and mild textures. Prince Ply Board gives the natural look to interior designs. “There are over 100 colours available in this range. Secondly our finger joint boards are widely used in furniture, flooring. Currently its market is slow but the demand will improve with the streamlining economical turbulence in the country,” said Mr Jose John of Prince Ply Industries.
Iriss Impex offered IRISS laminated PVC & Wood Flooring’s and engineered laminates at the exhibition. “These are imported Malaysia China and Belgium,” said Mr Jayesh Shah, Proprietor, Iriss Floorings. He further said, “It is widely used by builders. Today it is a necessity for a builder to give wooden flooring at least in a room of every flat. They also introduced digital laminate from Balterio. “Its manufacturers are increasing to feed the demand from the market,” he added. Shiv Shakti Laminates showcased Wood Laminates, Decorative Laminates, High Pressure Laminates, or Industrial Laminates in 1mm and 1.5 mm. They also introduced interior decorative items and imported wooden panels from Indonesia. “It gives natural effect and peaceful feeling after application in the living area at home. Its demand is increasing with increasing awareness among customers,” said Mr Sunil Nahata, Director, Shiv Shakti Laminates.
Metro Laminates presented wide range of decorative laminate sheets that can transform interior designs. Their offerings include Cork Laminates Highlighter series made of cork imported from Europe. “European laminates in stone textures is exclusive in India. It is for high end customers available in 20 colours. We are adding 100 more colours in this segment as the demand is increasing and there are a number of enquiries for other colours,” said Mr Ramesh Rita and Mr Rajesh Rita, Directors, Metro Laminates. They were also showcasing their regular maintaining range in fabric, wooden and stone textures.
Prince Wood was present in the exhibition with their flagship brand HIGH CLUB Veneers offering Natural Veneer Plywood, Recon Veneers, Decorative Veneer Sheets and much more. “The decorative veneer we present is natural and aesthetically advance. We are planning to go at another level in a year with high end Infrastructure. Currently we are moving at good pace,” stated Mr Hiten Patel, Director, Prince Wood who was present with Mr Naran Patel at the exhibition.
Ventura International Pvt Ltd was present in the exhibition with their premium architectural surface offerings with alluring amplitude of architectural and interior products comprising of Designer Laminates, Wood based Solid Surface Panels, Architectural Facade, Embossed Architectural Panels, and many more path breaking products. “We launched 3D wall panels ‘MABLE’ and are showcasing Luxe tiles –leather in 5 colours with metallic coating. 25 designs of Luxe Laminates Vetrotech laminated planks imported from Germany with 2.2 mm thickness. These are getting good demands in interior applications,” said Mr Prashant Maheshwari, Director, Ventura International.
Regency Wood Products with their flagship brand Sun Regency introduced a new and fashionably versatile range of Decorative Elite Panels which is used in wooden furniture. “Our open grain veneer speciality teak veneers are getting good enquiries. Currently market is somehow positive and people are willing to spend but they are needed to give quality products. If the offerings are exclusive and good customers will always ask for that because everyone want speciality now,” said Mr Aditya Somaiya, Director of Regency Wood Products.
Siddhi Veneers Pvt Ltd with their laminate brand Range explored the range of products that enhance interior designs and leverage ones imaginations. “We showcased exclusive range of PVC laminates and charcoal panels in this exhibition. Our products are decorative PVC based laminates and therefore are the most durable and enduring. This is how we stand different from others,” said Mr Vinay Bhandari, Director, Siddhi Veneers Pvt Ltd. Damas Laminates Pvt Ltd offered range of laminates of finest quality in 1 mm with mild and veneered textures. “It is manufactured with pure phenol resin and 100 percent imported paper that is why it gives long lasting life. It is available in 225 colours and textures,” said Mr Hitesh Thakkar, General Manager, Damas Laminates. Their products are indeed a meeting point of style and senses since their range carries, laminates that can transform the interiors. “These days’ people ask quality and service and we are satisfying them at this front comfortably,” he added.
Maria Decor –interior moulding & panels showcased range of charcoal wall panels & mouldings. “It is available in 250 designs which widely used in celling, wardrobes and furniture. It is more in demand from hospitality and residential projects. Our PVC embossed panels with fire retardant feature is new and exclusive in India. We continually strive to balance price, quality, and utility to successfully serve the mass market. Our products are the perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics,” said Mr Imran Patanwala of Maria Decor.
RJ Enerprise with brand Treelam provided flexible charcoal panels in 8x4 sq ft size along with Acrylic sheets and PVC laminates. Their INTENSE brand Rustic PVC laminate was attracting many. “We have higher range of PVC laminates which is unique and new which have greater demand in the market. We introduce new, products in every two months and this is the dynamism of panel market which gives us survival instinct. Our products are of top quality and in sync with latest, innovations and trends of the industry,” said Mr Jigar Fatak, Director, RJ Enterprise.
Vibrant Laminates with Aura Mica presented an array of choice in colour and finishes of laminates which help to create decor with a difference. “Our digital collection is exclusive and become centre of attraction at the show. We have given solution of wooden texture with good material and economical at price band which attracted many dealers and distributors. We are the company which gives quality products and work on ethical principle. Vibrant do it with much care in organised manner,” said Mr Somil Matanhelia, director Vibrant Laminates.
Vision Printers, a specialist of decor paper have been offering their printing solution to laminate manufacturers. They were displaying their laminate papers designs. “We have ventured into this this segment last year at Ahmadabad. We are dealing with laminate manufacturers offering them decor paper printing solutions and also doing job work for them. We have installed two machines with the production capacity of 60 ton per month and are planning to install another machine this year.,” said Mr Sudhir Prajapati, Director, Vision Printers.
National Trading Co with their brand Wodro presented a flawless range of wood veneers and veneered ply in various colours. “We have introduced natural veneers which are available in a number of species such as Oak, Birch, Ace, Larch etc that gives a ‘Wow’ effect to interior designs. Our motto is ‘always new products’ and slowly we are adding many products suitable for architects and interior designers. Veneered ply in various colour offer them options for many use,” said Mr Pranav, Director, National Trading Co.
Mayur Laminates with their flagship brand DOCOWUD launched art effects solutions for commercial printing and various highlighters (MOP) at the exhibition. “It is available in 20 designs in 10 colours. At present WPC wall panels demand is huge. It is used in false celling and bis available in 1x1 sq ft; 16x16 sq ft and 2x1 sq ft. There is a leather panels which is used in head boards, TV panels etc. These products are in demand but customers, interior designers and architects always want something new in every six months,” said Mr Jeetu J Karia of Mayur Laminates. Amit Impex with their brand Gold presented their Gold Collection of Laminates, PVC rustic mica, metal flex and PVC core, and Acrylic Sheets along with all decorative natural veneer, and highlighters. “We have 200 designs in non folder category. Our veneer and non folder mica is regular item and witnessing good sales across the country,” said Mr Amit Kubadia of Amit Impex.v Hskta Enterprises with their flagship brand Beyond Laminates brought a wide variety of designer PVC and Acrylic Laminates that can transform the way the interior designs look. “We showcased PVC sheets (backlit) Acrylic sheets and many decorative solutions at the exhibition and we are getting good response for all offerings. These products have good demand,” said Mr Arvind Shah, Proprietor, Hskta Enterprises.
EVIO Enterprise showcased decorative products PVC flexible laminates, Korean highlighters Glass Mosaic, Charcoal panels etc. It is available in 90 designs in various colours. “Our products have been displayed which is latest and trendy and according to the market needs. We are integrated provider of superior quality PVC flexible laminates, PVC core sheets, Wood and Coreian highlighters, decorative charcoal panels etc,” said Mr Nimesh Karia, Partner, Evaio Enterprise is an integrated marketer of superior quality laminate products that can only be limited by the imagination.
Praveen Hingad of Klas said on D Cube Exhibition, “In this exhibition many new people have been associated as many laminate factory owners have launched their brands and displayed their products. They are getting good response with the targeted visitors.
D Cube is like a family and every one support each other. It is very good for start-ups innovative and creative players. We are very enthusiast for the 3rd edition and for that we will decide later in a meeting together, but that will be bigger than this one.” Jeetu J Karia of DOCOWUD said on D Cube, “D Cube exhibition has become a popular name in dealers and distributors. Participants are much creative and present always new solutions, so people like it very much. It is compact and targeted exhibition. It is becoming meeting point and contributes equally. This exhibition is a B2B platform and we particularly focus on that, more of its exhibitors are distributors that is why there is only quality visitors and mostly are associated with each other. This platform is also becoming a community group to streamline the functioning of clients’ activity where the associate members are resolving their business issues taking help of one another.
