Ply Reporter is saddened to report that the major fire broke out at the furniture market near Kalindi Kunj station in Delhi on Friday morning. The furniture market is sprayed over 2,000 square yards and the fire had paved rapidly as a large amount of wood and plastic material was collected in the area. Some furniture shops were gutted. However, no one was injured as the fire broke out early morning and the stores were yet to open but the monetary value of the loss occurred to the furniture market is unknown.
According to the information given by reliable sources, the fire was reported at 5.55 AM and extinguished almost four hours later with the help of 17 fire tenders. Seventeen fire trucks were raced to control the blaze at the furniture market near Kalindi Kunj Metro station, officials said.
