Cedar Decor Pvt. Ltd. is the laminate manufacturing vertical of Durian Industries, which is the largest interior infrastructure manufacturing company in India with 8 manufacturing units producing decorative laminates, plywood, natural veneers, doors, sofas, chairs and modular furniture.
Company has 2 High Pressure Laminate plants located near Ahmedabad. The state-of-the-art plants are equipped with the latest machineries to manufacture high quality laminates. The in-house R&D department is equipped with modern testing equipment to ensure defect free products.
With 6 production lines, the company is equipped to produce over 6 lakh sheets a month in 1220 mm x 2440 mm and 990 x 2135 mm sizes. Their range consists of more than 900 different designs sourced globally which are produced in more than 200 different textures.
The thickness ranges from 0.55 mm onwards to 12 mm which is produced in convectional grade and also in various different specialised grades like Compact, Exterior, Post Formable, Fire Retardant, Anti- Bacterial, Abrasion Resistant, Doors Skins, Chalk & Marker Writable Laminates etc.
With stringent quality control implemented at various levels of production, their product meets the British European Standard BS EN 438 and NEMA LD3. They are also accredited with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.
Company has an immediate plan of strengthening the brand in the domestic market by serving Indian consumers with better quality and innovative designs & textures apart from expanding the International market focusing on exports. Company has plans to come up with larger size laminates in the near future.
