Ambica Engineers headed by Mohit Abhay Raj Chhajer has ventured into manufacturing of Cushion Pads for short cycle lamination presses globally in association with industry veteran Mr Marc Bishop who has worked for Cushion Pads manufactures in several countries. Cushion Pads are used in short cycle hot press to buffer the pressure and transfer the heat. The Cushion Pad is placed between the hot platen and the press plate in the short cycle hot press machine. An MBA from University of South Wales, UK, he has a deep understanding of the Particle Board & MDF Industry
During the COVID19 lockdown, the import from China was difficult and logistics were far behind on time, Mohit thought about an idea that could assist Indian companies with high quality & cost-effective products manufactured locally. After detailed research he decided to venture into manufacturing of Cushion Pads. Hence , he came up with brand “KooSHen” by AMBICA ENGINEERS.
“KooSHen” by AMBICA ENGINEERS (www.cushionpadscl.com) currently supplies Cushion Pads to over 250 clients globally including household names like Century Prowud, Heritage Boards, Salasar, Richa Particle, Flavicon Eco Board, Vihaan Boards to name a few. Our Cushion Pad raw materials are sourced from Germany and produced with high quality European standards. Talking with Ply Reporter, he says, “We have two manufacturing lines with 6ft Wide and 4ft Wide. Currently, 70% of our Pads are catered in domestic market and balance is exported. With operations in Asia, Europe & America we’re committed to showcase India as the manufacturing destination of the 21st century & beyond.”
