Saturday, 05 March 2022

Haryana Plywood Manufacturers Association has decided to increase the prices of all types of plywood, block board and doors by 7% (seven percent) with immediate effect. A meeting of the executive committee of HPMA was held on 5th March 2022 at Yamuna Nagar to discuss the scarcity of raw material viz timber wood, fuel wood and clerics thereby resulting in substantial increase of the input cost.

The situation warrants a substantial increase in the rate of all types of finished products to ensure survival of the producing units. Mr. JK Bihani, President, HPMA informed that the Association has decided to increase the rate of all types of plywood, block board and doors by 7% with immediate effect.  A further hike in rate shall be considered in the next meeting immediately after the Holi festival, he added.
