Virgo Group organised the grand launch program of Virgo PVC Laminates folder FOXTROT on 24 April 2022 at Noida, Delhi NCR in presence of a large number of dealers and distributors with their family. The event was broadcast live at the Ply Reporter Facebook page that was viewed by a large number of people from across the country. The folder was unveiled by wives of some channel partners along with Virgo Group MD’s wife. It is a nice initiative by Virgo Group to include the family members in the meetings and get- together.
Virgo Group, Asia’s largest laminate manufacturing company, also produces ACP, PVC Laminates, Plywood, having 6 manufacturing facilities. The Virgo Group family continues to grow bigger and stronger with each passing day, and their growth is credited to their thousands of satisfied customers.
Speaking on this occasion Mr Nikhil Arora, Director, Virgo Group talking about the new catalogue said, “I feel proud by launching a new ‘VIRGO PVC LAMINATES’ folder in which approximately 177 designs are there which include over 17 new designs. You can understand that in Virgo laminates the entire range has 4500 designs. With that we very well understand what should be added in Virgo PVC laminates. The PVC laminate offerings from Virgo Group are a versatile product range. Its high gloss offerings compete with other substitute products. Quality that we don't get at any other place, are available in Virgo PVC laminates folder.”
The folder has many innovative colours and designs like sparkle, marbles, soft textures, etc. The advantage with Virgo Group is that over 42 warehouses are available across the country that helps a lot in service and on timely delivery. “We focus on it at utmost priority. And we maintain such stocks that the dealers, distributors or retailers’ dead stock does not increase. Adding more designs only is not a good practice. So, we have focused on everything and created a perfect folder understanding the customers’ needs,” he added.
FOXTROT has been specially designed by the French design partners which are luxury collections which stand out, aesthetically appealing. DISTRIBUTORS’ VIEWS ON VIRGO PVC LAMINATES
According to you, what are the specialities in this new folder?
Mr Anuj Mittal, Mittal Timber: Virgo is an old company and whatever they bring, comes with very good quality with extensive research. The folder has every range that interiors/ architects are required. The new folder of Virgo is very good with a lot of new collections. The rustic design which is not generally available in others catalogue is available in Virgo PVC laminate. The customers like Virgo offerings because they give innovative products.
How will this new folder help you in increasing sales volume?
Mr Sumit, Shree Sai Laminates: I think it will give us a 100% volume increase. I would like to say that sabka sath sabka vikas with Virgo parivar, because their products quality is best worldwide. Today the customers are much aware and first of all ask for quality then ask for range and availability. Pricing is no issue. In terms of quality Virgo satisfies its customers 100% whether it is laminate or plywood. In PVC laminate the new shade added by them is going to give an excellent performance. In coming times its sales and performance will be very good. Together as a family this product offering by Virgo should be supported in the market.
In the Delhi market PVC laminate is consumed very much. Why is it so?
Mr Alakhnanda, RH Plywood, Faridabad: Because of availability and prompt service, PVC laminate is consumed very much in the Delhi NCR market. We feel proud to be associated with Virgo. They offer a large variety and the architects and interior designers are very much familiar with their offerings.

Please tell us about your journey so far?
Mr S P Arora, Managing Director, Virgo Group: Actually we work with heart and soul on every project taken into hands. In our growth our channel partners’ support is vital. Any product launched in the market under Virgo Group, we try to bring them at genuine price, genuine product and good volume keeping to the self in comfort zone. The laminate, PVC, Aluminium, Plywood etc in whatever industry we are operating in, are mainly service industries and we try to maintain its ethics and quality of service. To make it available, we have proper inventory management at all India levels. The products are available in every city. We can say that no one can compete in terms of product availability and after sales service. We manage the distributors’ stocks also taking support of IMS software. We also control their dead stocks with proper planning. These are our USPs.
What position do you hold in the exports market?
Mr S P Arora: If we see worldwide India’s laminate market is very huge. In terms of capacity, we are the third largest laminate manufacturer in the world and number one in Asia. Our target is to reach the number one position in the world and we are wholeheartedly trying for it. Earlier our focus was the domestic market but now we have several warehouses in overseas markets like in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, etc. We have been in the export business for the last four years and our growth in this period is very good. Around 20% of our total production is under export sales and in coming times we are going to increase it. We had no availability of the sizes in 14x6 and 10x4.5 that we have started six months back, in that also we have performed very well.
Do you think PVC laminate has a bright future with its innovation in design possibility and range?
Mr Nikhil Arora, Director, Virgo Group: A number of people are uncertain about the future of PVC laminate. I would like to say that its future is very bright at present as we have done extensive R&D in this prospective. It has numerous advantages of its features and benefits that other products are lacking behind. This is why; we have installed the largest capacity in India. In the coming times, we are going to double the capacity because we are seeing a high jump and extensive growth in the PVC laminate in India. Its quality and being eco-friendly along with our timely delivery and excellent after sales service the products sales is growing at a rapid pace.
Your PVC laminate manufacturing infrastructure and distribution model.
Mr Nikhil Arora: Virgo PVC has its entire manufacturing in-house. We have started a new plant in Ahmedabad spread over 92 acres at Kheda, where the Virgo PVC manufacturing is done. We have 42 warehouses pan India. We are operating PVC laminate from the same warehouses and taking it forward to the customers. Our products are available everywhere from Jammu to Kanyakumari. This is a great benefit of being associated with our brand. Along with that our focus is on service.
Is it true that Virgo is not much focused on the PVC laminate segment, as the people say?
Mr S P Arora: No, this is not the case, actually people compare laminate with PVC Laminates. The HPL total market in India is around 5.5 crore sheets, but for PVC laminate the total market is almost 6.3 lakh sheets. There is a big gap that people don’t observe. We are totally focused on PVC also and our production is around 70, 000 sheets per month and that is number one in India.
What is your message to them?
Mr S P Arora: Whatever I do, I do wholeheartedly. My message to the dealers and distributors that most important is our inventory management. Maintain your stock in the proper manner and focus on fast moving designs that will make your inventory safe. We keep track of every type of inventory and check them before offering. I believe that with your growth, we also grow.
