At a meeting on July 14, 2022, in Ludhiana, under the presidentship of Mr Inderjit Singh Sohal, President, Punjab Plywood Manufacturers Association (PPMA), Mr. Ashok Juneja (Chairman, PPMA), and Mr. Naresh Tiwari, Chairman, AIPMA, the association unanimously decided to increase the prices by 5% with immediate effect.

They stated that the price increase was observed to offset the costs and save the industry from losses.

On the occasion, a very large number of industrialists were present from all across Punjab. They discussed the issues before the industry, such as resin costs, wood price increases, etc., and decided to raise the price.

After the meeting, it was strongly recommended to follow the recommendation and get the price accepted. They expect continuous support from the industry's stakeholders for industry sustainability.
