200+ brands & 25000+ visitors mark their presence from India and overseas
The very first edition of MATECIA 2022, a building material exhibition organised in association of the Ply Reporter, Surfaces Reporter and Furniture Design & Technology as knowledge partners held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on September 2, 3 and 4, 2022. The Exhibition was a grand success with overwhelming response from the exhibitors and visitors which included product and machinery manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, distributors, architects, interior designers and other stake holders of wood panel and decorative industry & trade.
MATECIA is a business exhibition in India that connects Architects, Interior Retailers, Designers, Distributors, Manufacturers, Builders, Government agencies, Project Consultants, and Dealers in the Building Material and Interior Products industry. The exhibition in its very first edition got a presence of 200+ Brands, 1000+ Products showcased in an area of over 250000 sqft where over 20000 Dealers, Distributors, Showroom Leaders, Retailers, Manufacturers visited in the exhibition from India and overseas. Besides, 6000+ Architects, Designers, PMCs, Govt Agencies, Procurement & Project Managers and Design Students were present in the exhibition. During the concurrent events like WADE Asia, IIR and Materials & Technology Seminars over 500 Speakers and Jury members participated and presented their valuable thoughts.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr Shiv Prakash Mittal, Chairman, Green Panel Industries Ltd.; Mr. Prakash Lohia, MD, Merino Industries Ltd.; and Mr N. K. Agarwal, Chairman, Action Tesa, along with other industry conglomerates. After the lamp lighting ceremony Mr Pragat Dvivedi, Founder, Ply Reporter & IIR gave the welcome address, and the keynote address was given by Mr Shiv Prakash Mittal; Mr Prakash Lohia, and NK Aggarwal.
With this, the activities at the exhibition, along with other concurrent events and conferences, started. The plywood pavilion was inaugurated by Mr Devender Chawla, President, AIPMA; Mr Naresh Tiwari, Chairman, AIPMA; Mr Ashok Agarwal, President, PMWA-UP &IIA; Mr Anil Goel, Secretary, NIPMA; Mr. Vikas Khanna, President, Delhi-NCR Plywood Manufacturers Association and other industry fraternity. After the inauguration, a welcome note was given by Mr Rajiv Parashar, Editor, Ply Reporter.
