Morbi, Gujarat based industrialists came forward to solve the oxygen crisis and set up the plant at their expense day and night. They did a remarkable job by establishing an oxygen refilling facility in record time and extend their support for covid survivors during this deadly second wave of pandemic. The industrialists of Morbi have once again proved that they can do whatever they want on their own.
The Morbi Ceramic Association began by setting up a new oxygen refilling plant on a war footing in four days instead of four months. Now there will be no shortage of oxygen in Morbi district. During the second wave of covid large number of covid patients were suffering due to nonavailability of oxygen and losing their lives. In that case this plant is providing a self-reliant support in the region.
The plant’s refilling capacity is 1000 B type (47 kg) cylinders per day. Talking about the achievement Mr. Manish Savsani of Acer Granito Pvt Ltd said, “This is an industry initiative now, we will be able to save numerous lives in this pandemic. Now from this plant nearly 10 covid centers in 10 km radius have been covered by smooth oxygen supply.”
“This is an engineering marvel for serving humanity as we have commissioned 1000 oxygen cylinder refilling facility within 4 days. I would like to thank Inox for lending vaporizer and technical support and presidents and committee members of Morbi Ceramic Association for having never say die attitude and awesome team work. The local public representative Mr. Mohanbhai Kundariya assisted us in getting all the legal permissions and licenses. I hope no one in Morbi would suffer due to lack of Oxygen now.”
“I would like to request to more industry body to extend their support and take such initiatives. The businesses and earning money, is regular affairs but, this is a time when we should come forward wholeheartedly and support to the humanity in crisis,” he added.
