Particle Board Price Rise By Rs 80 A Board, Effective From 1 October

All India Particle Board Manufacturers Association issued a letter dated 28' September 2021 and asked to increase the price of finished goods due to rising input cost for the manufacturing units. Stating to the customers and trade partners, the association said Particle Board Industry is facing huge challenges due to shortage of raw materials.

 

The shortage is currently a major factor resulting in ever increasing rise in prices, there is a continuous deterioration of supply chain with no relief in sight. Thus the association is increasing the sale prices of Wood / Bagasse Particle Boards, by Rs.2.50 / sq.ft. from existing prices, w.e.f. 01' Oct 2021. They  have    sought the support for sustainable growth of the industry and hoped that the dealers, distributors will understand the situation in service to the industry.

 

Mr. Amrit Patel from Signature laminate says that the Particle Board industry has been suffering a big trouble due to hike in prices of every raw materials such as timber, baggase, Formaldehyde, Base Paper etc, hence they have decided to increase prices with immediate effect. He further fear the another price hike in coming month because the increase of raw materials prices are in trend due to international reason
