Royale Touche Forays into Plywood Manufacturing

Leading decorative Laminate brand Royalé Touché has entered into plywood manufacturing with the setting up of a modern manufacturing unit in Gujarat. The company has been commissioning 3 hydraulic presses each of 25 daylights, with core composer, calibrators, jumbo driers and new handling systems for smooth functioning of its plywood operation.

“We are expected to start commercial production in the second half of this year of our Plywood unit, which will be equipped with hi-tech machines to produce premium quality plywood products”, said Mr Raj Patel, Director, Royale Touche to The Ply Reporter.

The company has a target to cater premium quality customers’ demand by offering Calibrated Plywood, Fire Rated Plywood and Formaldehyde Emission free plywood. “Royale Touche is known for always offering the highest quality products, so our customers would expect the same level of commitment and quality in our plywood products. We plan to deliver a product which surpasses their expectations”, says Mr Patel.

“The company had been exploring to start a new vertical in interior products categories and we have identified Plywood as a suitable product, where we can add value for our customers”, views Mr Raj Patel.

It is noted that Royale Touché group has registered a growth in its revenue and profit in 2021-22 despite many odds due to pandemic and they have reached to Rs. 600 crore business turnover. The company has sought revenue of Rs. 100 crores from plywood business in the first year.
