Multi opening pressing technology is last generation technology for HDF board production having limitations on quality control, online quality correction measures, high energy consumption, high raw material consumption, high manpower cost etc.
Compared to that Continuous Pressing technology for HDF Board manufacturing is very flexible in terms of size variation, thickness changing procedure, good quality control, low energy cost, less wastage of raw material, easy operating procedure, online monitoring, low manpower cost etc.

How has been the growth in your Flooring business in the last 2 years?
We have had a tremendous amount of growth run in our flooring products since recent years. Thanks to export restrictions from China and huge demand in the Indian market. Since the recent past we as a company have invested a lot in our sales, marketing and quality aspect of the product. This in turn has bared sweet fruits to us for our perseverance. Again the global situation led by the corona pandemic have also hindered the growth of imported flooring due to its supply and cost issues, which eventually have helped manufacturers like us to capitalise on the domestic market flooring needs. Our flooring brand is marketed under a premium banner and has garnered us a good amount of well done to customer base and consumers who prefer a quality product made in India supported by our robust after sales service.
You also offer PVC and WPC boards; do you see price impact on these categories?
VIR PVC and WPC prices are normally as per the market prevailing trends. Our prices are very much competitive and at the same time provide the best quality. PVC having the commodity tangent, its price varies as per the raw material cost in the market. Hence you would see our PVC and WPC prices are in sync with the volatility of its raw material prices. Due to the logistical and post covid challenges the price of all the raw material have skyrocketed this brings an additional pressure to the manufacturers like us and in the end to the consumers. But we have good demand for our PVC and WPC boards segments.
