ILMA recommends price hike in Laminates of all thickness

Friday, 08 August 2025

Indian Laminate Manufacturers Association has recently on Aug 8th, advised a notable hike in the laminate prices of all thicknesses citing the continuous rise in production cost due to high fuel prices, increased overheads, weakening Indian Rupee, all these factors are escalating the raw material cost, hence the final product has been significantly impacted.

After careful assessment and discussion among members, it has been suggested that the rates of. 0.7 mm Sheet shall be increased by ₹20 per sheet and 0.8 mm Sheet by ₹25 per sheet,  while the price of 0.9 mm Sheet is suggested to be hiked by ₹35 per sheet and 1.0 mm Sheet by ₹45 per sheet.

In addition to this, the impacts have also been noted on Door Skin Sheets, Liner Grade Material and Both side Laminate with minimum hike of ₹20 in all mentioned categories.

Each member is requested to evaluate their individual cost structures and take appropriate action in accordance with the above recommendations.

Sporadic jump in the prices of raw materials and costly procurement  of industrial Urea, used in the production of resin have compelled the laminate producers across the country to increase the prices of final products.
