If the contractors and carpenters are happy with the products we get sales that are our reward from them. Their products’ demand is in both in retail as well as projects. We have not received any complaint one year from when we started dealing in their products.
Q:- When did you start business in wood panel segment and how is the journey so far?
A:- We have a steel industry set up since last 20 years and we are offering building material under one roof. One the basis of customers’ demand we started plywood business also in 2014. As after completing my study I get involved with my father’s business and seeing good potential in this plywood segment we ventured into plywood also in the year 2017. Today we have options to offer our customers to their choice and consumers also have option of choice with us. Over all the journey is going good and it has become exciting now after being associated with Regency Plywood.
Q:- Which products from Regency you maintain stocks? What is the demand from customers?
A:- There are four types of their products in plywood they offer, Regency Premium, Regency Silver, Regency Royal and Regency Crown. We are maintaining stock of Regency Royal’s BWR 710 and MR grade, plywood since the beginning along with other range also. People ask them by name as the product is good and their service is excellent. They are matching with market sentiment of this area. Policy wise also they are excellent as they involve dealer if there is any direct order to them in this region.
Q:- How did you get in touch with Regency?
A:- We get in touch with regency last year. We selected Regency because of their range of products under one roof and their support to their associates. There is no issue of quality also. We are exclusive seller of Regency in this region. Within 20 km of radius there are no shops authorised to keep Regency products. Being close to their warehouse we have an advantage that we get delivery very quickly in case there is any shortage of material at projects in the region.
Q:- What support you get from Regency as a dealer?
A:- They are good at after sales service and customers support. Their marketing team also supported a lot. In the beginning they offered us very competitive rates. Their products are good the sales are continuously going up. They are promoting their products very well with gifts and other utility items for carpenters and contractors, architects and interior designers. If the contractors and carpenters are happy with the products we get sales that are our reward from them. Their products’ demand is in both in retail as well as projects. Q:- How is the business of plywood in this area?
A:- We are based at Malegaon, 110 km from Nashik and 300 km from Mumbai. The plywood business in this area is much more competitive. The competition has raised the quality of product and services as well. It has turned into service oriented because there are number of good projects in this region. And architect base is also good as it is covering nearly 150 villages and small towns. So, good service gets good clients and better Plywood return on investment (ROI) and regency is perfect serving them.
Q:- What other support like schemes you wish to have from Regency for the growth of sales?
A:- They are already supporting us as well as the industry chain like contractors, carpenters, architects and interior designers by offering gifts time to time especially in festivals.
In advertising like banners, stickers, and local ads also they support us. In terms of schemes we offer rebate in rates for carpenter for a certain amount of business in which there is a company share as well. For us there is no scheme, there is a system for rate reduction for bulk booking. We fight with them on rates during orders rather to have schemes. The clients are very happy with this as they communicate with confident and get their every needs under one roof.
Q:- How is the future of Regency in this area?
A:- They are supplying with only brand so it is easy for us to convince our customers about the product and brand. We are doing meeting every month for customers’ awareness and solving their problems on the spot. Their marketing team is added advantage that is the main backup for our sales so that Regency’s future is bright with the quality, service and reasonable price.
