Accurate Industries has set up modern manufacturing facilities for face veneer production with 5 high speed peeling lines and two driers. This manufacturing unit was inaugurated by HE President of Republic of Gabon in a ceremony held in their factory premises. Director of the company Mr. Ankur Modi said to the Ply Reporter that he is producing vone container face veneer everyday at present and increasing the production because he can produce 40 containers every month. The company is more focused to producing good quality products. He informs that the company is working on second phase of investment in Gabon for plywood manufacturing as well as more investment on veneer production as well.
Mr. Ankur said, “At present we are receiving very good demand from India, Europe and USA. Our supply ration is 50:50 to India and other countries inclusive. We can do 10 ft also which is more in demand from Europe and USA. Our company has its own warehouse which serves as stock point to give delivery on demand. There is a bright future of acceptance of Okume Face Veneer in India because big players like Greenply and Sarda Plywood have already shifted their total operation to Okoume.
Almost all big players are shifting to Okoume, and once they do then the small players will also get to know that there is no use of wasting money on Gurjan. If the small players do not move they will not compete with the big ones, so everyone will have to shift to Okoume for sure. The dipping formula has been developed and the recent result obtained with Okoume is even better than Gurjan,” says Mr. Ashish Singhal, Director of the company.
Talking on the sustainable pricing of Okume Face Veneer to India market, Mr Ashish says that he will be maintaining the sustainable price of face. It also depends on the logs and the availability of raw material. It is a commodity which is totally gets affected by the demand and supply scenario and its equations. But, it is definite that there will be no drastic change in price. It is obvious that with increasing consumption of logs and timber the price of face will also increase. Inflation is another factor which affects the price of any product.
“Coming two years is very crucial for investors at Gabon which would be turning point in terms of acceptance in India as well as in Gabon with the countries policy. The recent challenges are logistics
for which we have dedicated team to take care of these issues. The procurement of raw material is not a problem. The industry as well as the government and buyers are supporting us a lot. There are challenges for shipping for which our experienced team take care of. We have done a lot of homework in detail and with that, we ensure our delivery meet the time,” assures Mr Ashish.
Explaining his manufacturing set up he says, “Everybody who comes to visit our plant is very happy with our workflow systems. We have six months prior orders and meeting the time line for delivery. We are facing only challenge to have bigger warehouse at port because the waiting period is larger than the usual. We have to study and plan for order in advance. People also understand it and are planning their schedule according to the situation and time required for delivery and maintaining their inventory for it.”
