The world's leading trade fair for woodworking and wood processing plant, machinery and tools, LIGNA 2019 organised by Deutsche Messe AG and VDMA e.V is going to take place in Hannover from May 27 - 31, 2019. The exhibition will be showcasing innovative technologies, products and materilas from across the world occuppying nearly 130, 000 sq m space, spread across 10 exhibition halls and the openair site at the Hannover Exhibition Center. There will be an impressive participation from the Indian wood working and surface decor machinery industry such as H R Industries, ( Ahmedabad ) , Kumar Engineering, Master Handlers, Matrix Cutting tools etc.
All the leading providers of plant and machinery for the primary wood industry will be showcasing their innovation and new products. Along with the exhibiton, the organisers will also host LIGNA.Forum, Wood industry Summit, Future Workshop for Forestry & Wood“ – the innovations platform for the forestry and wood industry. Few of the highlights of LIGNA 2019 include: Forestry 4.0; Guided tour on “Sawmill Technology – Innovations and Trends”; Wood Industry Summit and “Future Workshop for Forestry & Wood” – the innovations platform for the forestry and wood industry and 14th German Logging Championship along with Energy from Woodtechnologies that wood-industry manufacturers can use to recover process energy and re-use it for heating and electric generation.
In 2019, for the first time, Deutsche Messe and the German Woodsmen’s Championships Association (VWMD) will be co-staging the German Logging Championships – the “Formula 1” of forestry skills – on the open-air site at LIGNA. At the 14th German Logging Championship, Germany’s best 100 or so forestry professionals will demonstrate their chainsaw skills under the watchful eye of an expert panel of judges.
