The fastest growing laminate brand Vidyalam laminates is planning to expand its manufacturing capacity this year. The company has decided to put second press of 20 daylights in its manufacturing facility, which will commence its commercial production by September this year. Vidyalam Laminates is a brand introduced by the prominent laminates manufacturing company VIDYA LAMTECH LLP, which was started just one and half years back. They have long association of plywood industries for last 32 years. Their plant is spread in over an area of about 7.5, acres in Sonipat, Haryana and is equipped with latest machines and techniques.
Mr Rajkumar Agrawal, the Managing Director of the company said to the Ply Reporter that they have decided to expand its capacity in the beginning of this year ordered the new press of 20 daylights. He expects that with the commencement its commercial production by end of September this year the company will add another 1.5 lakhs sheets to their manufacturing capacity. Mr Agrawal informed that the company is successfully utilising the present capacity of one press and reached to almost pan India market.
The company has successfully appointed more than 28 distributors in many places and very strong in North and Eastern part of market. Mr Agrawal informed that he has infrastructure of installing 6 laminate presses in the same premises and gradually will be increasing the capacity with demands. Vidyalam is presently offering 0.8 mm laminates, door skin and liner grade laminates. After installing the second press the company is planning to enter into 1mm laminate category which they expect to launch before Deepawali.
Mr Agrawal sees the better prospect in laminate growth in India. He says that in present crisis time they successfully utilised 30% of its capacity in May month and it will increase gradually in coming months. He also says that Vidyalam Designs are very much appreciated by dealers and receives many good enquiries from distributors as they are happy to see the designs and getting good number of customers.
