ACP Demands Maintain To Its 50% Sale in May

ACP sector was reported to achieve its approx 50 percent sale during May month despite of lockdown in many states as per talk with ACP manufacturers. Owners and Experts said that projects and commercial building constructions were continued during May, which supported them to maintain their 50 % demand. It is also confirmed that ACP segment has been recovering to 60 to 65 percent in June month till writing the report and expected to increase further. Sources from Alstone, Alstrong, Aludecor, Viva, Eurobond, Timex bond, Alex Panel etc reveal that volumes and quantity maintained to 50% sales of April month sale, because of uninterrupted projects and commercial building sites including government, Industry, highways & transports, commercial and office space constructions.

Mr. Rajesh Shah, Director, Eurobond confirms that in May sale was above 50% of April month and it is improving in June month because construction work had continued in spite of lockdown. A Delhi-NCR based builder says that the projects are running but due to labour shortage, he is unable to reach its full capacity. He further adds that ACP is very economical façade material, which is available @ range of 55 to 65 depending on quality, and it is suitable for faster execution and good supply.

Besides there is good demand reported of Partition panels during this lockdown period, because there is high demand received for making temporary Covid Home, Hospitals, Cabins, Bathrooms and doors. Partition panels segments have also reported to achieve its 80% level due to new demand, aggressive pricing, good supply as well as ease to work with this. With over 40 ACP manufacturing establishments, there is more than enough supply of Partition Panels in India, which available in market @ range of 28 to 36.

Rs. 2200 crores Indian ACP industry with 40 plus manufacturing establishments, has expected to reach approx 70 % capacity utilization in June month, which is good sign of recovery for this emerging segment. Although Quality producing brands have expressed that there is still a long way to go if quality product demand and future growth is considered.
